Two Japanese firms have formed a joint venture to establish the Philippines first-ever quick service auto repair operations initially opening a facility in Pampanga, with expansion goals in key locations in Luzon.
The joint venture partners — ANEST IWATA A.I.R. Corp. and Kurumaya Complete Auto Care — have met with officials of the Board of Investments to discuss their repair shop operations, specifically for car coating repair services. The first-ever quick-stop car repair services in the country, promises same-day completion for repairs.
ANEST IWATA president Yoshiyuki Suzuki told BOI that aside from the first shop in Pamanga, they are planning to open in key locations such as Metro Manila and Laguna.
ANEST IWATA A.I.R. plans to leverage advanced technology and provide specialized training to employees in partnership with Kurumaya, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient services.
This meeting follows an earlier engagement with the BOI during the Investments Promotion Mission to Japan, led by Trade Undersecretary and BOI Managing Head Ceferino S. Rodolfo on 27 November 2024.
The meeting was organized in partnership with Mizuho Bank, which has been a partner of BOI since 2017 and recently renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with the agency in July last year.
