PAL to launch thrice weekly non-stop flights to Beijing starting March 30

Philippine Airlines (PAL), the national flag carrier, will begin operating thrice-weekly nonstop flights to Beijing Capital International Airport starting March 30, 2025.

“We are honored to serve Beijing, the heart of the world’s second-largest economy,” said PAL President and COO Capt. Stanley K. Ng. “This service aims to boost tourism, enhance trade, and strengthen ties between the Filipino and Chinese people.”

With the addition of Beijing, PAL will have the most extensive network of flights from the Philippines to Mainland China, including daily flights to Shanghai (Pudong), Xiamen, and Quanzhou (Jinjiang) from Manila.

The new route will utilize Airbus A321 aircraft, offering both Business and Economy Class services, with a seating capacity of 168 to 199 passengers.

Beijing, renowned for its historical landmarks like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and the Temple of Heaven, attracts millions of visitors yearly. The industrial city of Tianjin is also just an hour away via high-speed train.

Travelers from Beijing can conveniently connect through Manila to various top Philippine destinations such as Cebu, Davao, Boracay, and Palawan, as well as other international destinations in Southeast Asia, Australia, and North America.
