Grab Philippines is making it simpler than ever for users to make a positive impact on the environment with the launch of its Green Programme. Now, with a single tap, you can contribute to vital conservation efforts every time you ride or order through the Grab app.
Here’s how it works: activate the “Support the Environment” toggle in your Grab account and contribute PHP 2.00 for each GrabCar or GrabTaxi ride or PHP 1.00 for every GrabFood or GrabMart delivery. Your contributions will directly support:
- Mangrove Restoration in La Union:Partnering with FEED and EcoMatcher, Grab is helping to plant mangroves in Dulao Village, restoring vital coastal ecosystems and supporting local communities.
- Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary:Supporting the protection of nearly 300,000 hectares of natural ecosystems and 75 threatened species in Cambodia, meeting internationally recognized environmental standards.

This initiative complements Grab’s broader sustainability efforts, including:
- Reducing plastic waste by offering cutlery opt-out options.
- Promoting electric vehicle adoption through partnerships with BYD.
- Addressing food insecurity through the FoodShare Program with Starbucks and the Philippine Food Bank Foundation.
