New Productions
“Red, White, & British” is a British tribute show developed with Burn the Floor, a collective of world-renowned ballroom champions. This high-energy production celebrates iconic British musical performers and features a ‘glam rock’ section paying homage to David Bowie and Queen. The show will premiere on:
- Norwegian Breakaway®: March 14, 2025, after dry dock enhancements
- Norwegian Epic®: May 14, 2025, during a Greek Isles sailing
- Norwegian Prima®: August 24, 2025, on a Northern Europe voyage
Jenn Rapp, the visionary director, will bring the production to life. She has previously worked on “Jersey Boys” on Norwegian Bliss®, “America’s Got Talent,” and “The Illusionist.” Set designer James Kronzer will create stunning sets, having designed for over 300 stand-up comedy specials on platforms like HBO and Netflix. Champion dancers Peta Roby and Jason Gilkison will serve as the creative team behind this production.
NCL will also introduce “Bring Back the 90s,” a nostalgic journey through the 90s directed by Scott Weinstein, a critically acclaimed and award-winning theater artist. The show will debut on Norwegian Getaway’s March 2, 2025, sailing. Featuring songs from Alanis Morissette, Salt-N-Pepa, and Destiny’s Child, this high-energy show celebrates 90s fashion, pop culture, and trends through dynamic vignettes, powerful vocals, and multimedia design. The production also includes mashups by DJ duo The Hood Internet, bringing the era’s music to life in fresh and unexpected ways.
