The government is actively implementing a whole-of-government approach to provide essential services and assistance to the Filipino people, particularly those in dire need, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. affirmed on Friday.
During his visit to the Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas event in Dasmariñas, Cavite, President Marcos reassured the public of the government’s unwavering support.
“Asahan po ninyo na ang inyong pamahalaan ay palaging nandito, patuloy na nag-aalalay sa inyong lahat. Huwag kayong mag-alala, hindi po kami aalis hangga’t kayo ay nangangailangan ng tulong mula sa pamahalaan,” the President said during the event at the Dasmariñas Complex.
“I’m here to ensure that the services are running smoothly and that your needs are being addressed. We are committed to solving the problems you face,” he added.
In his address, President Marcos highlighted the role of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), which organized a job fair to help job seekers find employment opportunities.
He emphasized that DOLE also extends livelihood support through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
“This program is designed to assist those who have lost their jobs or those wishing to start small businesses. We are here to support them,” the President explained, noting that DOLE also assists various cooperatives.
The job fair, held on Friday, featured 25 employers offering 2,700 job opportunities.
On the healthcare front, President Marcos assured the public that medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, were ready to provide essential care to the people of Cavite. A mobile laboratory, along with X-ray and diagnostic equipment, was also available to support medical services.
Additionally, health document processing stations were set up, allowing residents to obtain necessary services like PhilHealth ID cards.
The Department of Agriculture (DA) contributed to the event by setting up a Kadiwa outlet, where the public could purchase affordable basic goods.
President Marcos also directed the DA to ramp up the supply of inexpensive rice, ensuring that more consumers can benefit from affordable prices.
The government’s whole-of-government approach continues to focus on addressing the immediate needs of Filipinos, with a commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in times of need.
