Cebu Pacific expands fleet with first A330neo of 2025

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading airline, has taken delivery of its first aircraft for the year – an Airbus A330neo. This marks a significant step in the airline’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its operations and further modernize its fleet.

The 459-seat A330neo landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila on March 28, becoming the first of four A330neos expected to join Cebu Pacific’s fleet in 2025. In total, the airline is set to receive seven new aircraft this year, reinforcing its commitment to growth and sustainability.

“We are excited to welcome the first aircraft delivery of 2025. The addition of the A330neo boosts our operational resilience and expands our ability to serve more passengers while staying true to our promise of providing affordable and sustainable air travel. This aircraft will help bring dream destinations closer to every Juan,” said Xander Lao, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific.

The A330neo offers Cebu Pacific enhanced flexibility, allowing the airline to efficiently operate both regional and long-haul routes, as well as high-demand sectors. With increased range and capacity, the aircraft optimizes operational efficiency while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

As part of Airbus’s latest generation of aircraft, the A330neo offers improved fuel efficiency, burning 15% less fuel per flight and producing significantly less noise than previous models. This reduction in fuel consumption directly contributes to lowering the airline’s carbon footprint.

Cebu Pacific is known for operating one of the youngest fleets in the world, with a diverse mix of aircraft. Its current fleet includes 11 Airbus A330s, 39 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 15 ATR turboprop aircraft, providing the widest network coverage across the Philippines.
