AirAsia Philippines launches #AlwaysREADY campaign for Holy Week 2025

In preparation for over 100,000 expected travelers this Holy Week, AirAsia Philippines has rolled out its #AlwaysREADY Ngayong Semana Santa 2025 campaign to ensure a safe, seamless, and enjoyable travel experience for all guests from April 13 to 20, 2025.

To kick off the initiative, Office for Transportation Security Administrator Undersecretary Arthur Bisnar joined AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla and Spokesperson Steve Dailisan in inspecting the airline’s check-in counters at NAIA Terminal 3. The team assessed operational readiness for the anticipated passenger surge and handed out Santan Summer drinks to departing guests.

As part of ongoing safety enhancements, AirAsia Philippines has also introduced a new power bank policy aligned with updated guidelines from the AirAsia Aviation Group, currently under review by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.

“It’s become a tradition for us at AirAsia to provide extra support during peak travel periods—especially when families come together for religious observance,” shared Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head. “We’re also taking this opportunity to promote awareness on the safe handling and transport of power banks.”

AirAsia reminds guests of the following key guidelines:

  • Power banks below 100 watt-hours (Wh) are allowed onboard.
  • Devices between 100Wh and 160Wh require airline approval during check-in.
  • Complete power bank guidelines are available via AirAsia’s official social media, the AirAsia Newsroom, and AskBo on the AirAsia MOVE app.

New Onboard Santan Summer Menu

Just in time for the Holy Week rush, AirAsia Philippines is also bringing a taste of summer onboard with its Santan Summer Menu. The highlight: the viral Halo-Halo Drink, now available for pre-booking at just PHP150.

Starting April 22, domestic flyers can also enjoy a PHP150 Value Combo Snack Deal featuring light bites like Pain au Chocolat or Cheese Puff, paired with refreshing Santan drinks. Guests can upgrade to fan favorites like the Santan Coconut Latte, or try new seasonal offerings such as:

  • Raspberry Lychee Jasmine Tea – PHP140
  • Fizzy Raspberry Lychee – PHP150

Travel Tips for a Hassle-Free Holy Week Journey

To ensure smooth operations during this peak season, AirAsia is reminding guests of the following:

  • Arrive at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international departures.
  • Check-in counters open 2 hours before flight time in compliance with CAB regulations.
  • Guests without checked baggage are encouraged to use self-check-in kiosks.

For added convenience, the Value Pack Lite bundle—which includes 20kg checked baggage and seat selection—is available starting at PHP660 per flight.

Passengers are advised to review the latest baggage guidelines and list of restricted items ahead of their journey for a stress-free airport experience.
