Hotel101 tops off 680-room flagship in Madrid, Spain

Hotel101 achieved a major milestone with the topping-off ceremony of its 680-room Hotel101-Madrid, led by Mang Inasal founder Injap Sia and Jollibee founder Tony Tan Caktiong. The project reached this stage just 11 months after construction began and is on track for full completion by December 2025—just in time for the inaugural F1 Grand Prix in Madrid.

Once completed, Hotel101-Madrid will rank among the five largest hotels in the city. It is situated on a prime 6,593-square-meter commercial lot along Avenida Fuerzas Armadas in Valdebebas, one of Madrid’s fastest-growing districts.

The property enjoys a strategic location: just a 3-minute walk from Valdebebas Train Station, 4 minutes from the IFEMA convention complex, 5 minutes from the Real Madrid Sports Complex, and only 7 minutes from the new Madrid Barajas International Airport.

This development marks a significant step in Hotel101’s global expansion strategy. With a long-term vision of operating one million rooms across more than 100 countries, Hotel101 has identified 25 priority markets for growth. These include the Philippines, Japan, Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, UAE, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Mexico, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Turkey, Italy, Germany, France, and Saudi Arabia.

Hotel101-Madrid represents not only a milestone for the company’s European expansion but also a symbol of its bold ambitions to become a global hospitality leader.
