Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has announced the launch of direct flights between Singapore and Iloilo City in the Philippines, enhancing travel access across Southeast Asia with affordable options.
The new service officially began on April 14, 2025, utilizing the 112-seater Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. Initially operating twice a week, the frequency will increase to four times a week starting in June 2025.
Located in the heart of the Philippine archipelago, Iloilo City is a vibrant destination renowned for its well-preserved Spanish-era architecture and the colorful Dinagyang Festival—one of the country’s most celebrated cultural events. With its blend of historical charm and urban energy, Iloilo offers a refreshing getaway for leisure travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation.
