In observance of Semana Santa, the Port Management Office (PMO) of Davao extended its hospitality by distributing free porridge, bread, and coffee to passengers and tourists at the Port of Babak in IGACOS from April 17 to 19, 2025.
This initiative aimed to express PMO Davao’s solidarity with the public during the Holy Week, while also easing the travel experience of early-morning commuters who may not have had time for breakfast.
Beyond simply offering food and drinks, the gesture served as a warm welcome to both locals and visitors arriving on the island. It was a small but meaningful way for the agency to show care, compassion, and community spirit during one of the country’s most significant religious observances.
