This crucial maintenance period involves a thorough inspection, cleaning, and repair of critical railway infrastructure and train components. Key areas of focus include the rails themselves, as well as vital train systems such as tires, air conditioning units, brake and suspension systems, and engines. The PNR will also be undertaking the installation of synthetic bridge ties and the repair of existing rails during this period.
