MRT-3 is actively enhancing the passenger experience through extensive Holy Week maintenance yesterday.
The Staff are:
- Modernizing Train Interiors: Installing new passenger lighting ballasts.
- Overhauling Train Systems: Repairing and reconditioning spare traction motors and other critical mechanical and electrical parts.
- Ensuring Clear Communication: Conducting functional testing and maintenance on public address and intercom systems across the fleet.
- Boosting Platform Safety: Repainting and adding prominent “Mind the gap” reminders to platform markers for clearer passenger guidance.
- Improving Station Facilities: Thoroughly cleaning comfort rooms, escalators, and elevators, and repainting yellow safety signage.
