The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) invites everyone to join the first-ever three-day celebration of National Innovation Day (NID) 2025, happening from April 28 to 30, 2025, at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, Quezon City. This annual event champions public awareness and national support for Filipino innovation—also known as Filipinnovation—by highlighting milestones driven by both government and private sector initiatives.
Carrying the theme “FLIP: Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines,” the 2025 NID celebration aims to empower future innovators, connect stakeholders, and recognize Filipino excellence in innovation. This year’s event features three key highlights:
Inspiring Youth: A hands-on HABI (design thinking) workshop will engage students from various universities, challenging them to develop solutions using real market demand data, guided by expert mentors.
Engaging the Public: Visitors can explore a dynamic showcase of government-led innovation projects while taking advantage of networking opportunities that foster collaboration across sectors.
Honoring Excellence: Outstanding Filipino innovators—or Filipinnovators—will be recognized in an awards ceremony celebrating their significant contributions to driving innovation in the National Capital Region and beyond.
