To ensure the seamless execution of the free ride program, Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon conducted an on-site inspection of the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 on its first day, April 30. The program, which extends until May 3, was initiated under a presidential directive to commemorate Labor Day.
