In support of the health sector’s vital contributions to national development, delegates attending the 46th Asia Pacific Dental Congress (APDC) and 116th Philippine Dental Association (PDA) Annual Convention and Scientific Meetings will be entitled to a FREE RIDE on MRT-3 from May 15 to 16, during peak operating hours.
This initiative, aligned with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s commitment to bolster the healthcare community, aims to provide convenience and recognition to dental professionals and stakeholders participating in this significant regional and national gathering.
The free ride program will cover peak hours of MRT-3 operations on both days, easing the commute for hundreds of convention participants attending the event in Metro Manila.
“This gesture reflects our administration’s ongoing support for the medical and dental professions, whose efforts continue to shape the well-being and future of Filipino society,” said a representative from the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
The Asia Pacific Dental Congress and the PDA Annual Convention bring together experts, practitioners, and academics in the field of dentistry to share knowledge, explore innovations, and collaborate toward advancing oral healthcare in the region.
Participants are encouraged to present their event identification or proof of registration to avail of the complimentary MRT-3 rides.
For more information and updates, attendees may visit the official PDA website or the Department of Transportation’s social media channels.
