Prime Infra, the infrastructure arm of Filipino businessman Enrique K. Razon Jr., earned top recognition at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, winning the Grand Stevie Award for having the highest-scoring nomination among all Philippine entries.
The winning entry, submitted in the Most Innovative Sustainability Leader of the Year category, earned Prime Infra and its President and CEO Guillaume Lucci both the Grand and Gold Stevie awards—a double honor recognizing Lucci’s leadership in advancing sustainability-focused infrastructure development.
“We are honored by this recognition, which reflects the real impact of our work in delivering essential services through our projects,” said Lucci. “This award speaks to Prime Infra’s commitment to develop and operate infrastructure that addresses critical service gaps and create lasting value for the communities we serve.”
Prime Infra is focused on building and operating critical infrastructure assets that support the most urgent sustainability priorities such as dependable energy supply, access to clean water, and modern waste management.
Among its major infrastructure projects include the Upper Wawa Dam, the largest dam to be built in the Philippines in over 50 years and designed to secure long-term water supply for Metro Manila and Rizal; the drilling campaigns at the Malampaya gas field, the country’s only indigenous natural gas source which supplies 20 percent of Luzon’s electricity; and two large-scale pumped storage hydroelectric power projects with a combined capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW).
Prime Infra also operates in the waste management industry through Prime Integrated Waste Solutions Inc. (PWS), which won a Silver Stevie award under the Sustainability & Climate Protection Services category.
PWS operates two large-scale materials recovery facilities, one in Cebu and one in Pampanga, and maximizes resource recovery through state-of-the-art equipment. It aims to significantly reduce landfill volumes and minimize organic waste decomposition, thereby lessening harmful methane emissions from waste.
The Stevie Awards are among the world’s premier business recognition programs, attracting over 12,000 entries annually from organizations in more than 70 countries. The 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards received more than 1,000 nominations from across the region, with winners selected by more than 100 business professionals through a two-month judging process.
