LANDBANK honored as “Best in Green Financing” at 2025 ASEAN FinTech Awards

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) announces its latest international recognition, having been awarded Best in Green Financing at the prestigious ASEAN FinTech Awards 2025, held on May 20, 2025, at Hotel Mulia in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Selected from among 116 entries across Southeast Asia, LANDBANK was honored for its unwavering dedication to sustainability through comprehensive green lending programs, climate-resilient financing, and support for renewable energy initiatives. This award underscores LANDBANK’s commitment to financing responsibly and helping build a more sustainable and climate-resilient ASEAN region.

Representing LANDBANK at the awarding ceremony were Executive Vice President Ma. Celeste A. Burgos and First Vice President Eden B. Japitana accepted the award on behalf of the Bank.

This recognition is a reflection of LANDBANK’s mission to catalyze sustainable development. It belongs to every Filipino we serve and to all our partners who share our vision of a greener, more resilient future, said LANDBANK.

In addition to this milestone, LANDBANK was also named once again to the Forbes World’s Best Banks 2025 list, marking its third consecutive year on the global ranking. This year, LANDBANK ranked 5th among nine Philippine banks recognized by Forbes and Statista, based on surveys of over 50,000 banking customers in 34 countries.

Banks were evaluated on key criteria including Trust, Financial Advice, Customer and Digital Services, and Terms and Conditions.

As LANDBANK continues to expand its digital transformation and sustainability efforts, these recognitions reaffirm the Bank’s commitment to excellence in service and its role in advancing inclusive and sustainable growth in the Philippines and beyond.
