Cirium, the aviation analytics leader, has released its April 2025 On-Time Performance (OTP) Monthly Report, showcasing the most punctual airlines in Southeast Asia.
The report highlights Philippine Airlines (PR) as the region’s top performer, achieving an impressive 86.07% on-time arrival rate across 9,895 flights.
Indonesia AirAsia (QZ) and Garuda Indonesia (GA) secured the second and third spots with on-time arrival rates of 80.69% and 80.48%, respectively.
Singapore Airlines (SQ) ranked fourth with a 76.91% on-time arrival rate, followed by Thai AirAsia (FD) at 74.93%.
The rankings reflect Cirium’s commitment to providing accurate and reliable data, supported by its rigorous methodology and quality assurance processes.
Airlines are evaluated based on actual gate arrival times, completion factors, and operational characteristics, ensuring transparency and consistency in performance measurement.
Key Updates to the OTP Program
Cirium’s Advisory Board, comprising industry experts, convened in March to refine the OTP program. Notable changes include the retirement of the Low-Cost Carrier category, recognizing the evolving operational models of airlines.
Additionally, a new “Most Improved OTP” award has been introduced to celebrate carriers demonstrating significant year-over-year progress.
