The Philippines welcomes a significant dignitary as H.E. Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission (HRVP), arrives for an official visit from June 1 to June 2, 2025.
This marks HRVP Kallas’s inaugural visit to the Philippines since her appointment on December 1, 2024, signifying a pivotal moment in the robust diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the European Union.
The visit underscores a shared commitment to fostering open political dialogue and strengthening cooperation in the collective pursuit of peace, stability, and sustainable development. HRVP Kallas’s agenda includes a key meeting with Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo.
