Marcos Jr. today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the newest facilities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
The President’s visit aimed to personally assess the significant progress and upgrades delivered since the airport’s operations were officially turned over to the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC). This inspection underscores the Administration’s dedication to ensuring that vital infrastructure projects are on track and delivering tangible benefits to the Filipino people and international visitors.
Upon his arrival, President Marcos Jr. received a detailed briefing on the accomplishments of the NNIC, highlighting the transformative improvements undertaken at Terminal 3. Following the briefing, the President embarked on a thorough walkthrough of several key facilities, including:
- Immigration Area: Inspecting the enhancements designed to streamline processing and reduce waiting times for all passengers.
- Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Immigration Annex: A dedicated area emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing efficient and respectful services to OFWs.
- OFW Lounge and OFW Rest Area: Examining the new, comfortable spaces created to offer a better pre-departure and post-arrival experience for the nation’s modern-day heroes.
- Transportation Network Vehicle Services (TNVS) Area: Assessing the improved facilities for ride-hailing services, aimed at enhancing convenience and accessibility for travelers.
- Arrival Curbside Area: Reviewing the upgrades made to improve traffic flow and passenger pick-up efficiency.
