The City Government of Legazpi, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region V, officially launched the Bicol Loco II: Hot Air Balloon and Music Festival on Saturday, June 14, at the historic Old Legazpi Airport grounds.
Now in its second year, Bicol Loco has rapidly grown into one of the region’s most anticipated tourism spectacles, attracting thousands of visitors and families from across the Philippines and beyond. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the majestic Mayon Volcano, this three-day festival features a dazzling lineup of attractions—from hot air balloon flyouts and aerobatic displays to skydiving stunts, car drifting exhibitions, and colorful paramotor formations.
In addition to the aerial thrills, the event boasts a powerhouse musical lineup, including P-Pop superstars SB19, iconic singer-songwriter Rico Blanco, hitmaker Zack Tabudlo, rising Bicolana artist Dwta, and special appearances by South Korean actors Kim Ji Soo and Kim Won Shik, along with other acclaimed local and international performers.
To further enhance the visitor experience, the DOT Regional Office V has set up a dedicated tourism booth at the festival site, providing information, assistance, and promotional materials for DOT-accredited destinations and establishments across the Bicol Region.
The Bicol Loco II Festival runs until Monday, June 16, promising three full days of excitement, culture, music, and adventure.
