Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) has turned over four brand new FG bus units to First Balfour, a leading Filipino engineering and construction company, as dedicated transport services for the companies in Leyte.
At the turnover ceremonies on June 16, 2025, HMP President Shingo Sakai cited its robust partnership with Balfour over the years as a celebration of mutual trust. “First Balfour continues to uplift the quality of life for our fellow Filipinos through innovation and excellence in engineering, construction, and project management,” said Sakai.
The new units will be utilized as dedicated shuttle services for First Balfour’s workers to its project site in Leyte, allowing the company to maintain its high standards of safety, punctuality, and operational excellence across the country. This initiative underscores both companies’ commitment to enhancing workforce mobility and ensuring safe, reliable transportation for personnel in the region, said Sakai.

The units also offer a modern aesthetic with new headlight and taillight designs, stylish front grills, and a well-appointed interior featuring new seat upholstery, infotainment systems, and USB chargers for passenger convenience during long journeys. Maintenance is also made easier with features like the Brake Retarder, which reduces wear and tear, and Auto-Greaser, prolonging parts life and minimizing manual adjustments
