TRP Inc. celebrated a milestone 30-year operation as manufacturing and logistics firm with over PHP1 billion worth of investments in the Philippines.
TRP, which mainly manufacturers automotive switches at the Toyota (Sta. Rosa) Industrial Complex in Laguna, employs more than 1,600 Filipinos. The Toyota special economic zone in Laguna is registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
In celebration of its 30th Anniversary last June 30, 2025 at Crimson Hotel Filinvest Manila, PEZA Deputy Zone Administrator Alejo F. Macaraeg cited TRP’s exemplified excellence in manufacturing and logistics operation with over PHP1-billion investments and a workforce of more than 1,600 as of 2024.
Furthermore, the Deputy Zone Administrator reaffirmed PEZA’s continued commitment to providing a business environment where industry leaders like TRP and its partners can thrive. “Together, we build a future that is innovative, inclusive, and economically empowered,” he said.
TRP is one of the long-standing Japanese investors in the country registered since 1995, the same year PEZA was established. From its humble beginnings, TRP became a key player in the Laguna Technopark and Toyota Sta. Rosa special economic zones. TRP is a subsidiary of Tokai Rika Co. Ltd. of Japan.
