AirAsia Philippines unveils new headquarters – “The Red Horizon”

AirAsia Philippines today announced the official opening of its new headquarters in Pasay, dubbed “The Red Horizon.” This significant milestone marks a powerful display of growth, optimism, and unwavering commitment to providing world-class service and democratizing air travel in the Philippine market.

The new facility will serve as the home for over 1,500 Filipino Allstars, reinforcing AirAsia’s long-term dedication to offering value-driven air transport. The vibrant, Filipino-inspired space reflects modern values of inclusivity, collaboration, and national pride, with key function rooms named after the Philippines’ major island groups: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, symbolizing unity and regional representation.

The inauguration was graced by prominent figures, including Senator Erwin Tulfo, a topnotcher in the recently concluded 2025 midterm elections, alongside esteemed airport and aviation officials such as Office for Transportation Security Undersecretary Arthur Bisnar, Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Eric Ines, and Civil Aeronautics Board Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla.

Capital A CEO Tony Fernandes, accompanied by Deputy Group CEO for Airline Operations Capt. Chester Voo of the AirAsia Aviation Group, AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Suresh Bangah, and the Philippine leadership team, led the welcoming of guests to the new office.

“The resilience of Philippine AirAsia is something to marvel at,” shared Capital A CEO Tony Fernandes. “The energy of this company is unbelievable. We’ve gone from two planes to 255, carried 90 million passengers this year, and are just short of carrying 1 billion people since we started 23 years ago. Yet, everyone has maintained their humility, hard work, and most importantly, our passion to be the best.”

Senator Tulfo lauded AirAsia’s contributions to the nation, stating, “From its humble beginnings, AirAsia has become a pioneer in budget air travel—not just connecting destinations, but connecting dreams, families, businesses, and cultures. It brought the skies closer to millions of Filipinos and travelers around Asia by making flying affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. As a public servant, I deeply appreciate the role AirAsia plays in economic development, tourism, job creation, and nation-building. Your growth is the country’s gain, and rest assured, we will continue to support an environment that enables enterprises like AirAsia to soar even higher.”

“The Red Horizon” also prioritizes the well-being of its Allstars, featuring dedicated prayer rooms to support spiritual inclusivity, a fully equipped gym to encourage health and wellness, and the People First Stop. This dedicated space underscores AirAsia’s commitment to its employees, serving as a hub for support, connection, and care, including a safe venue for mental health discussions.

As it embarks on this new chapter, AirAsia Philippines continues to deliver on its mission of making travel more accessible. To celebrate the opening and its commitment to affordable air travel, the airline has launched its Mid-Year Sale, offering one-way base fares from as low as PHP77. With over 330,000 seats available, guests can book their low-fare getaways from July 7 to July 13, 2025, for travel between August 1 and October 15, 2025—perfect for third-quarter trips, long weekends, and early ‘ber-month’ escapes.
