The Department of Energy (DOE) is pleased to announce the official list of Qualified Bidders for the Green Energy Auction Round 4 (GEA-4), a key initiative in accelerating the country’s shift toward clean and sustainable energy.
This year’s auction round covers the development of Solar, Solar integrated with Energy Storage Systems or IRESS, and Onshore Wind, and reinforcing the DOE’s commitment to increasing Renewable Energy (RE) share in the power generation mix while enhancing grid reliability and resiliency.
The evaluation of Qualified Bidders follows a rigorous process to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance with the GEA-4 Guidelines. The selected companies have demonstrated the technical, legal, and financial capabilities necessary to participate and contribute to the Philippines’ long-term clean energy targets.
As part of the GEA-4 auction process, a Virtual Pre-Bid Conference for all Qualified Bidders is scheduled on 28 July 2025 at 9:00 AM. The link to the online session will be sent directly to the email addresses of the Qualified Bidder’s Authorized Representative. This Conference aims to provide important guidance and clarifications on the bidding procedures and requirements.
