PHINMA boosts investment of P300 million in Bacolod township

PHINMA Corporation (PHINMA) announced a significant additional capital infusion of P300 million into its groundbreaking P12-billion, 21-hectare mixed-use township development in Bacolod City, Saludad. This investment, allocated to subsidiary PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation (PHINMA Properties), underscores the company’s heightened confidence in the project’s robust performance and promising future.

“This new P300-million investment will allow PHINMA Properties to sustain the favorable market momentum for our Saludad project in Bacolod,” stated Ramon R. del Rosario, Jr., PHINMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “This signifies the PHINMA Group’s stronger commitment to the Bacolod community and nearby areas by promoting economic development and creating new livelihood opportunities.”

Saludad, developed in partnership with JEPP Real Estate Co., is designed to be a vibrant, sustainable community that integrates essential services from across the PHINMA Group. The township will feature:

  • TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod, a lifestyle brand from PHINMA Hospitality, slated to begin construction soon as the township’s anchor tenant.
  • Southwestern University PHINMA’s first campus outside Cebu City, expanding educational opportunities.
  • Building materials supplied by the PHINMA Construction Materials Group, ensuring quality infrastructure.

“We’re creating a lively, sustainable community for our beloved Bacolodnons where they can easily access essentials for dignified lives,” said Raphael B. Felix, PHINMA Properties President and CEO. “Saludad combines the best offerings of the PHINMA Group with the city’s rich heritage and beautiful sceneries, amidst its fast-growing economy — this marriage of tradition and modernity makes it distinctly Bacolod. As we say, Aton Ini.”

The development will also serve as a dynamic business hub, featuring a blend of commercial and retail spaces alongside residential areas, catering to both entrepreneurs and professionals.

“With the township’s construction in full swing, the southern Phase 1 will be completed by the first quarter of 2026, and the northern Phase 2 will be finished in 2028,” noted Paolo V. Reyes, PHINMA Properties Vice President and Chief Township Officer. “PHINMA Properties looks forward to sharing more of Saludad with people within and beyond Bacolod.”

Saludad was initially launched last October and was master-planned by the award-winning firm Royal Pineda+ Architecture.Design.
