Autoparts exports seen hitting USD1.2 B this year

The country’s auto parts industry generated an estimated $1.21 billion (around P66.55 billion) export-revenue in 2024 and is projected to grow even further to reach $1.28 billion (around P70.4 billion) this year, based on data released by the International Trade Council.
This was highlighted at the annual Auto Parts & Vehicles Expo (APV Expo), which gathered close to 200 exhibitors and up to 5,000 attendees at the World Trade Center last July 25-27.
“The robust growth of the automotive parts industry highlights its resilience and vital role in further strengthening the Philippines’ position in global supply chains,” said Mr. Sukumar Verma, Managing Director at Informa Markets Singapore, the organizer of APVE 2025.
“The yearly APV Expo is designed to showcase and support manufacturers, suppliers, and all other stakeholders related to the industry. Just like in the inaugural edition last year, APV Expo 2025 aims to open opportunities by highlighting the overall automotive ecosystem–from manufacturing components and cutting-edge technologies to aftermarket solutions and all in between,” he said.
Further establishing its position as a sought-after annual trade event for automotive parts, APV Expo 2025 is featuring the latest in auto parts and components, modern logistics and transportation solutions, automotive sustainability solutions, and the newest industry and institutional offerings from local and international brands in key markets, which include China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and the Philippines.
