Pryce Corporation (PPC) has announced a remarkable 46.1% year-over-year increase in its consolidated net income for the first half of 2025 (1H-2025), amounting to Php 1.93 billion compared to Php 1.32 billion in the same period last year.  This growth represents a Php 609 million increase in net income, driven by higher sales volumes and gains on marketable securities totaling Php 576 million.

Consolidated revenues for 1H-2025 rose by 10.7%, reaching Php 10.3 billion, up from Php 9.54 billion in 2024.  Despite a slight drop in the average contract price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from US$612.08/MT to US$606.17/MT, PPC achieved revenue growth due to increased sales volumes, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao, which saw a 12.8% increase.

LPG revenues remain the largest contributor to PPC’s consolidated revenues, accounting for Php 9.79 billion or 92.7% of total revenues.  Industrial gases contributed Php 547 million (5.2%), memorial park operations Php 194 million (1.8%), and pharmaceutical products Php 30 million (0.3%).

PPC’s industrial gas sales volume surged by 71.3%, boosting revenues from Php 426 million to Php 547 million.  Overall, LPG sales volume grew by 3.75% year-over-year, further solidifying PPC’s position in the market.

Earnings per share for 1H-2025 increased by 48%, rising to Php 0.95 from Php 0.64 in the same period last year.
