The Keepers Holdings Inc. (Keepers), owned by Lucio Co, the Philippines’ largest imported liquor distributor, announced a robust performance for the first half of 2025, driven by strong sales and strategic growth initiatives. The company reported a net income of Php 1.6 billion, a significant 13.7% increase from Php 1.43 billion in the same period last year.
This impressive growth was primarily fueled by the strong sales volume of the imported brandy segment, led by the market-leading brand, Alfonso. Keepers’ consolidated revenue for the first half of 2025 reached Php 9.04 billion, a 17% growth over the previous year, supported by a remarkable 22% increase in the volume of cases sold. This surge is attributed to a premiumizing market, the strong rebound of the on-premise channel, and Alfonso’s continued success, which has now surpassed its pre-pandemic sales levels.
In line with its long-term growth strategy, Keepers is also expanding its market presence and product portfolio. The company’s Board of Directors has approved a proposal to incorporate a new subsidiary to establish a chain of retail outlets dedicated to alcoholic beverages and related products. This initiative will allow Keepers to further engage with consumers and enhance its distribution network.
Furthermore, Keepers has strategically acquired a 50% stake in Cervia Global Trading Inc. This acquisition marks a significant entry into the premium local spirits market, supporting home-grown Philippine products and positioning Keepers for future growth in international markets. Cervia is the producer of Sula, a popular flavored liqueur with variants including coconut, dark chocolate, and coffee, all made with locally sourced ingredients.
For over two decades, The Keepers Holdings Group has been a trusted partner in bringing a diverse range of leading international spirits, wines, and specialty beverages to Filipino consumers. Its extensive portfolio includes iconic global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Chivas Regal, Glenfiddich, Suntory, Jinro, Jose Cuervo, Jim Beam, Penfolds, and Red Bull.
