The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) proudly welcomed the Porsche Club Philippines on July 19, 2025, as members of the prestigious car club embarked on an unforgettable drive to Casiguran, Aurora.
The convoy of high-performance Porsches cruised through one of Luzon’s most breathtaking routes, with panoramic views of the Sierra Madre mountains and the pristine Pacific coastline serving as the perfect backdrop for precision driving.
The well-paved roads from the southern part of Aurora leading into APECO offered a smooth, safe, and exhilarating experience, reflecting the region’s readiness to host motoring groups and adventure seekers. Thanks to the development of Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX), travel from Manila to Casiguran is now faster and more convenient, bypassing Baler and cutting travel time significantly. This improvement, combined with local road enhancements, underscores APECO’s commitment to better connectivity and accessibility for visitors.
APECO Business Development and Marketing Division (BDMD) Manager Gene Angelo P. Ferrer likewise presented investment opportunities to some members of PCP, who are also businessmen.
The meeting brought meaningful interactions with former Senior House Deputy Minority Leader Congressman Paul Daza and Casiguranin businessman Mr. Sari Ortiga, who was once an APECO critic. Both expressed support for the agency’s development plans under the leadership of APECO President and CEO Atty. Gil G. Taway IV. Mr. Ortiga shared plans to organize a food fair to promote local culture, while Cong. Daza pledged support to help APECO secure a higher budget in the Congress for its development programs.
