Indonesia’s Danantara, Pertamina mull investments in PH

Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, Frederick D. Go, met with top executives of Danantara, Indonesia’s nearly USD 1 trillion sovereign wealth fund, and Pertamina, the nation’s largest oil and petroleum company.

During the meeting on Tuesday, August 12, Danantara and Pertamina expressed intent to pursue additional investments in the Philippines, building on their recent investment of about USD120 million in Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation.

Go refused to divulge other details of the planned investments.

Also in attendance were Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Raphael Lotilla and Energy Secretary Sharon S. Garin.
