Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, is set to expand its domestic network with the launch of direct flights between Cebu and El Nido in October, giving travelers from Central Visayas greater access to the natural wonders of Palawan.
Starting October 26, CEB will operate daily flights between Cebu and El Nido via Cebgo (DG). These are on top of the direct flights for the same route currently operated by AirSWIFT.
“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces. By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
With CEB now operating direct flights between Cebu and El Nido, more travelers from Central Visayas will soon have direct access to El Nido’s iconic lagoons, limestone cliffs, and beaches. From Cebu, passengers can also fly direct to other Palawan gateways such as Coron (Busuanga), Port Barton (San Vicente), and Puerto Princesa, making the island province more accessible than ever.
For travelers from El Nido, Cebu offers a range of attractions — from exploring heritage sites like Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro, to savoring its famous lechon and other delicacies.
Passengers may use their existing Travel Funds to book flights and avail of other add-ons. CEB also offers other payment options, including credit or debit cards and e-wallets.
CEB currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
