Taiwanese firm expanding in PH

Aromate PH Assets Corporation, a local subsidiary of Taiwan-based Aromate Industries, is investing USD4.3 million manufacturing facility in Batangas.
The investment was formalized through a registration agreement signed by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and Aromate PH.
The agreement was a key outcome of PEZA’s investment promotion mission to Taiwan from August 25 to 30, 2025. Aromate PH will build its new plant at the LIMA Technology Center to serve as a regional hub for its air care products, targeting the growing Southeast Asian market and broader global demand. The project is also expected to generate new jobs for Filipinos.
PEZA Director General Tereso Panga recognized the investment as a significant stride in attracting more Taiwanese firms to the Philippines.
“This is a significant development as we continue to welcome more Taiwan companies setting up operations in the Philippines, generating opportunities for both local and international markets,” said PEZA Director General Tereso Panga.
Anthony B. Rivera, Trade Representative and Director for Commercial Affairs for PTIC-Taipei, also expressed confidence that the company would bring more opportunities not only in product manufacturing but also in research and development for innovative fragrance and air care products.
