Royal Jordanian has been recognized as the most punctual airline in the world for August 2025, according to the latest on-time performance (OTP) data from OAG, a leading global travel data provider. The airline achieved a top-ranking OTP of 93.24%, with an impressive 99.88% completion rate for its 4,034 scheduled flights.
The OAG report highlights Royal Jordanian’s exceptional operational efficiency and commitment to punctuality. The airline’s performance significantly outpaced its global competitors, solidifying its position as an industry leader in on-time arrivals.
According to OAG’s methodology, on-time performance is measured by flights that arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled gate arrival time. The data for August 2025 revealed that:
Royal Jordanian led the rankings with a 93.24% OTP. Out of 4,034 total flights, only a mere 0.12% were canceled, demonstrating the airline’s reliability and operational excellence.
Philippine Airlines secured the second spot with a strong OTP of 92.97%.
FlySafair, a South African airline, took third place with a 91.86% OTP and a remarkable 0% cancellation rate out of 5,231 flights.
