Philippine Airlines (PAL) has officially commenced flights to Cambodia’s new air gateway, Techo International Airport (KTI), marking a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion and commitment to connecting key destinations in Southeast Asia.
Flight PR 2621, operated by an Airbus A321ceo, was one of the first commercial flights to land at the state-of-the-art facility on September 9, 2025. The inaugural flight arrived at 12:13 AM local time, carrying 122 passengers from Manila to Cambodia.
The newly inaugurated Techo International Airport, located in the Kandal Stueng district south of Phnom Penh, replaces the former Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH). With an initial annual capacity of 13 million passengers, the modern airport is poised to serve as a vital hub for tourism and business in the region.
