The initial schedule focuses on providing early morning, essential trips across three major regional corridors, effective October 1, 2025.

“This resumption marks a major step forward in restoring vital rail links across our regions,” said Engr. Jerico R. Santos, PNR General Manager (ad interim). “We understand the reliance our commuters have on the PNR, and we are dedicated to providing a safe, reliable, and convenient travel option. We appreciate the public’s patience as we continue work to restore our network fully.”

The initial services will operate daily on the following fixed schedule:

The agency is working diligently to expand services and will announce additional routes as soon as they are certified safe and operational.

Commuter Advisory and Safety Reminders

The PNR strongly urges all commuters to adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Stay Informed: Follow the official PNR social media accounts on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) to read the latest announcements, real-time travel updates, and operational changes.
  2. Safety First: Review the official guidelines on prohibited items and conduct within stations and trains. These rules are strictly enforced to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and personnel.
  3. Arrive Early: Given the expected high demand, passengers are encouraged to arrive at the station well in advance of the scheduled departure time.
