IBS Software introduces Agentic AI suite, transforming air cargo management

IBS Software, a leading provider of SaaS solutions to the travel industry, today announced a breakthrough in AI-driven cargo management with the launch of its Agentic AI suite.

Unveiled at the 25th annual IBS Software Cargo Forum (ICF) in New Delhi, this new generation of AI-powered virtual agents is set to fundamentally redefine how airlines and cargo handlers operate, injecting intelligence, speed, and foresight into mission-critical workflows across the company’s flagship iCargo platform.

The Agentic AI suite introduces intelligent, conversational agents embedded across the iCargo platform to act as digital co-pilots for core business functions, including Revenue Management, Customer Service, Mail Management, and Sales.

These innovative agents allow users to interact in natural language, receiving contextual insights and real-time recommendations instantly. Crucially, the agents don’t just respond—they predict, recommend, and explain.

The suite is designed to drive measurable outcomes:

Optimizing Yield: Agents flag anomalies and recommend dynamic pricing adjustments to optimize revenue.

Boosting Customer Service: Conversational agents can resolve customer queries in seconds, delivering personalized experiences at scale.

Driving Operational Excellence: The AI turns raw data into real-time decisions across mail and sales processes, reducing manual effort while significantly boosting accuracy and speed.

According to Radhesh Menon, Head of Cargo & Logistics Solutions at IBS Software, the new tools are built to address real-world challenges across the entire cargo value chain.

“These AI agents act as co-pilots, empowering cargo teams to recover revenue faster, respond to disruptions instantly, and deliver personalized customer experiences at scale,” Menon said. “This is about transforming operations from reactive to predictive.”

IBS Software’s approach focuses on a three-pronged strategy: transforming customer experiences through conversational interfaces, driving operational excellence via intelligent virtual agents, and fostering an AI-first culture that democratizes insights across teams.

George Varghese, Head of the Data & AI Centre of Excellence at IBS Software, emphasized the strategic importance of the launch.

“The launch of Agentic AI Cargo Management is more than a milestone—it is about shaping the cargo industry’s future. We are uniting iCargo’s robustness as a trusted system of record with the agility of agents to drive outcomes,” Varghese noted. “With explainable AI built into the core, we ensure trust and transparency while delivering enterprise-grade intelligence at scale, making our customers future-ready in the agent economy.”

The announcement was made during the 25th edition of the IBS Software Cargo Forum (ICF), which has grown into a premier global platform for co-innovation and transformation, bringing together over 100 airline and cargo handling customers to discuss the future of the industry.
