Sunlight Air expands fleet with new aircraft arrival at Clark International Airport

Sunlight Air celebrated a significant fleet expansion today with the official welcoming and blessing of its newest aircraft at Clark International Airport (CRK). The milestone not only marks a new chapter for the airline but also reinforces the strong partnership between Sunlight Air and the premier gateway of Central Luzon.

The brand-new aircraft, a vital addition to Sunlight Air’s growing fleet, was formally blessed in a ceremony at the CRK tarmac, dedicating it for safe operations and future journeys. Officials from both Sunlight Air and the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) were present to commemorate the event.

Ryna Brito, CEO of Sunlight Air said: “This aircraft is a symbol of our unwavering commitment to connecting travelers to beautiful destinations and providing reliable service. We are thrilled that this exciting chapter in Sunlight Air’s story begins right here at CRK, a hub that shares our vision for growth and accessibility.”

The arrival of the new plane is expected to enable Sunlight Air to expand its route network and increase flight frequencies from Clark, offering passengers more options for domestic travel, particularly to leisure and resort destinations.

Noel Manankil, President and CEO of CIAC said: “We are proud to welcome Sunlight Air’s newest asset. Their continued expansion at CRK is a clear vote of confidence in our airport’s world-class facilities and strategic importance. Together, we continue to open skies for more connections and more reasons to fly from CRK, benefiting the travelers and the economy of Central Luzon.”

This development underscores the continued effort by both organizations to enhance connectivity and improve the travel experience for passengers flying through Clark International Airport.
