PAL unveils next-generation business class suite for new Airbus A350-1000 fleet

Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced a major upgrade to its premium passenger experience, officially unveiling its cutting-edge, next-generation Business Class seat for the forthcoming Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The new product, revealed at the prestigious 2025 Aviation Summit, marks a significant milestone in the flag carrier’s ongoing fleet modernization and commitment to world-class service.

The new Business Class suite is engineered for an unparalleled combination of privacy, comfort, and state-of-the-art technology, positioning PAL at the forefront of premium air travel in the region.

A New Standard in Premium Comfort

Each new Business Class suite offers an exclusive, personalised cabin experience, highlighted by several key features:

Ultimate Privacy: A full-height privacy door transforms the seat into a private sanctuary, ensuring a more exclusive and undisturbed journey.

Immersive Entertainment: Passengers will enjoy a breathtaking entertainment experience on a large 20-inch 4K UHD screen, offering stunning clarity and a cinematic feel for PAL’s extensive library of movies, shows, and music.

Smart Design and Convenience: The suite integrates seamlessly with modern traveler needs, featuring a wireless charging pad and dual charging ports (a standard USB Type-A and a powerful 60W USB Type-C port) to keep all devices powered throughout the flight.

Atmospheric Control: Automatic ambient lighting subtly adjusts to create a relaxing and sophisticated environment, perfectly complementing the time of day and phase of flight.

“The introduction of this next-generation Business Class on our A350-1000 fleet is a direct reflection of our promise to elevate the PAL experience,” said a PAL spokesperson. “We are investing in technology and design that offer our passengers ultimate comfort, privacy, and connectivity, making their journey with us as exceptional as their destination.”

The unveiling is closely timed with a critical step in the airline’s long-term strategy. PAL’s first Airbus A350-1000 is scheduled for delivery in December 2025. This flagship aircraft is set to become the backbone of PAL’s long-haul network, primarily servicing key routes to North America and Europe, offering passengers an unmatched travel experience on ultra-long-range flights.

The fleet modernization program remains a top priority for Philippine Airlines as it continues to strengthen its position as Asia’s first airline and a leading global carrier.
