The organizing committee for #BLUERISE2025: The Blue Economy & Maritime Convention in Cebu today announced the difficult decision to postpone the event to the second quarter of 2026. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and in the paramount interest of participant safety.
The Convention is organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), Full Force MarketStrat Gateway (FMG), and Quantum Quatro Ventures Inc. (QQVI), in close partnership with the Cebu City Government.
The postponement is a direct response to the ongoing seismic activities and recent earthquakes that have affected parts of the Visayas region. The organizing team determined that proceeding with the event at the originally scheduled time would pose unnecessary risks to the well-being of all local, national, and international attendees, speakers, and partners.
The partners are currently finalizing new arrangements, and #BLUERISE2025 is now expected to take place in the second quarter of 2026. Specific dates and venue confirmation will be released as soon as possible.
The organizing team extends its sincere apologies for any inconvenience this change may cause and expresses profound gratitude for the understanding and continued support of all registered attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders. All previously confirmed registrations will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
