Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier, and Philippine National Bank (PNB) have officially renewed their long-standing partnership, solidifying their commitment to enhancing the Mabuhay Miles loyalty program. This strategic renewal promises strengthened travel and lifestyle benefits for PAL-PNB cardholders and Mabuhay Miles members.
The ceremonial signing, held at the Lucio K. Tan, Jr. Center in Pasay City, marked a continued alliance between the two industry leaders. Key attendees included LT Group Inc. and PAL Holdings Inc. President and COO Lucio C. Tan III, PAL President Richard Nuttall, and PNB President and CEO Edwin Bautista, along with other senior executives from both organizations.
Under the new agreement, PAL-PNB Mabuhay Miles credit, debit, and prepaid card holders will enjoy expanded privileges, most notably the ability to convert reward points into Mabuhay Miles seamlessly. These miles can be redeemed for a wider range of exclusive travel benefits, including flights, cabin upgrades, and other travel privileges, ensuring a more rewarding experience on the ground and in the air.
Lucio C. Tan III commended the collaborative effort to deliver greater customer value. “This partnership celebrates the value our customers bring by ensuring their loyalty is rewarded in meaningful and exciting ways,” he stated. “When strong brands come together, the possibilities are endless. Together, we amplify our strengths and elevate the experiences we offer, setting new standards for innovation and excellence in the industry.”
Richard Nuttall emphasized the importance of the continued alliance for travelers. “The renewal of our partnership with PNB reflects our continuous pursuit to strengthen relationships that enhance the travel experience of our customers,” he said. “We are expanding opportunities for our passengers to enjoy the benefits of the Mabuhay Miles program on the ground and in the air.”
Edwin Bautista highlighted the customer-centric nature of the collaboration. “This partnership goes beyond our logos,” he commented. “It’s about giving our customers experiences that truly matter—whether they’re managing their finances or traveling the world.”
Both companies are committed to further expanding the benefits and privileges available to cardholders, ensuring an even more enjoyable and valuable experience.
