These vehicles were officially forfeited by the government after being seized in October 2025 for violating the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) through illegal importation and technical smuggling.
The public auction, which is expected to generate significant revenue for the national coffers, serves as a decisive step in the BOC’s intensified campaign against misdeclaration and illicit trade practices.
