The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has issued a new advisory announcing additional temporary closures of several airports as Super Typhoon Uwan continues its path, bringing adverse weather conditions across various parts of the country .
The decision to temporarily halt operations is made in coordination with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and is mandatory to ensure the safety of the flying public, airport personnel, and critical infrastructure.

The following airports have scheduled temporary closures for today and tomorrow (November 10):

CAAP confirms that all airports within Area V remain closed until further notice, given the persistent severe weather in the region. These closures include:
- Bicol International Airport (BIA) in Daraga, Albay
- Naga Airport
- Virac Airport
- Masbate Airport
- Daet Airport
- Bulan and Bacon Airports in Sorsogon
All flights scheduled to and from these affected airports have been cancelled or diverted.
