FAST Logistics Group is once again empowering Albay’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing end-to-end trade fair logistics support for the Sa’Od Albay Trade Fair.
More than 40 entrepreneurs from Albay are set to showcase their craftsmanship and creativity at the event, which is organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Albay Provincial Office, from November 19-23 at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
The trade fair highlights a wide selection of Albay’s finest products, including handicrafts, pili-based items, ceramics, food products, fashion pieces, and other proudly local goods.
DTI Albay Provincial Director Noel B. Bunao emphasized his office’s commitment to uplifting entrepreneurs through product development and market linkages.
“Albay is home to exceptional artisans and world-class, proudly local products. We aim to highlight the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of Albayanos through this trade fair,” he said.
“Trade fairs like Sa’Od not only celebrate our local identity but also reinforce our mission to uplift communities through sustainable enterprise development,” Provincial Director Bunao added.
He also expressed confidence that MSMEs can achieve their collective sales target of more than PHP10 million throughout the five-day exhibit.
As a key partner of the trade fair, FAST provided crucial support by handling product consolidation and transport for participating exhibitors. Through FAST’s Full Service Outlet in Legazpi, MSMEs were able to drop off their products, which were then picked up, transported, and delivered safely and efficiently to the trade fair venue.
This allowed local entrepreneurs to focus fully on showcasing their products without worrying about the complexities of logistics handling, product safety, or transport delays.
“Our partnership with Bicol MSMEs is built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to elevate local enterprises,” said FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr.
“We believe that by working closely with our entrepreneurs, including those from Albay, we can open more doors for growth and strengthen the region’s presence in the national market through cost-efficient, reliable logistics,” he added.
This year marks the fourth time that FAST Logistics has provided end-to-end trade fair logistics support for Bicol MSMEs. The company previously extended logistics assistance during Orgullo Kan Bicol Trade Fairs held at Shangri-La Manila, Okada Manila, and Festival Mall Alabang.
