The prestigious award was conferred during the joint celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between India and the Philippines and the 75th Anniversary of FICCI Philippines.

The event, hosted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (Phil.) Inc. (FICCI), gathered diplomats, senior government officials, and industry leaders committed to enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and humanitarian initiatives.

Commissioner Nepomuceno was recognized for his exceptional leadership in improving institutional integrity, promoting transparent operations, and building stronger partnerships with stakeholders within the Bureau of Customs.

He reaffirmed his commitment to creating a transformed and fully digitalized Bureau of Customs that the country can be proud of.

The Commissioner thanked the organizers, noting that the recognition serves as a powerful reinforcement of the Bureau’s continuous drive to improve operations and win the trust of its communities.
