PAL launches new route to Palau, strengthening Pacific connectivity and tourism

Philippine Airlines (PAL), the Philippines’ flag carrier, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new, non-stop flight service connecting Manila (MNL) and Koror (ROR), Palau. This exciting addition to PAL’s network will commence on March 29, 2026, offering travelers enhanced access to the stunning island nation in Micronesia.

PAL will operate the new Manila-Palau route twice weekly, further strengthening its presence in the Pacific region and positioning Manila as a seamless gateway to this tropical paradise from key cities across Asia and the Philippines.

“Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall. “Travelers can expect world-class service on board their flights combined with Philippine Airlines’ renowned Filipino heartfelt care, making the journey to Palau’s extraordinary marine attractions as wonderful as the destination itself.”

Koror, the gateway city, provides immediate access to Palau’s vibrant dive sites, crystal-clear lagoons, and thriving coral reefs. The route reinforces PAL’s commitment to expanding its network with unique destinations that drive tourism and deliver exceptional experiences.

The new service will be operated by PAL’s modern 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo, ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience for passengers.
