Samsung Electronics Philippines, the local arm of one of the world’s leading technology conglomerates, has unveiled its Business Experience Studio and SmartThings Home Showroom— the first of its kind in the country. The showroom presents real-life settings that demonstrate how its technology and smart devices can be applied across various industries.
Launched on Thursday, December 4, the Business Experience Studio and SmartThings Home Showroom features immersive zones including a hotel lobby and room, a café area, a retail center, rugged devices and Knox solutions, an education zone, a command center, and a smart home setup.
“Our goal is to empower every sector with innovations that make work smarter, businesses more efficient, and environments more connected,” said Roman Han, President of Samsung Electronics Philippines. “Every industry is operating in an era where speed, efficiency, and connectivity drive growth while also defining competitive advantage. This showroom demonstrates how AI-powered solutions and SmartThings-connected devices can come together to deliver meaningful solutions for real-world business challenges.”
In the hospitality sector, Samsung’s unified technologies enable smoother operations and enhanced guest comfort. Frictionless check-in systems reduce manual workloads, while in-room innovations—such as hospitality TVs paired with immersive audio devices—elevate the entertainment experience. Smart cooling systems, including the One-Way Cassette Air Conditioner and WindFree™ Air Conditioners, help maintain a relaxing atmosphere. With SmartThings, guests enjoy intuitive controls that make their stay more personalized.
For retail businesses and quick-service restaurants (QSRs), Samsung solutions streamline workflows and boost customer satisfaction. Samsung Kiosks enable fast, contactless, and accurate ordering in café settings. Its all-in-one ordering and payment system shortens wait times and reduces errors, especially during peak hours. Intelligent display solutions increase visibility of menus and promotions, encouraging impulse purchases whether installed indoors or outdoors. Through VXT CMS, retailers can update promotional content across multiple locations with ease.

In education, Samsung’s connected ecosystem supports interactive, flexible, and efficient learning environments. Devices such as the Galaxy Tablet and S Series tablets, along with interactive Flip Pro digital boards and Samsung TVs, enhance classroom collaboration. Paired with Samsung DeX and AI-powered productivity tools, these devices help teachers and students work smarter and create more engaging learning sessions.
Its SmartThings Home showroom showcases the latest Samsung home appliances, such as high-tech refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, and a washing machine.
Rugged devices
Samsung’s rugged devices enhance field visibility and real-time coordination for industries operating in tough conditions. Tools like the Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy Tab Active5 are designed for durability, ensuring reliable connectivity and productivity for frontline workers.
With security and centralized management essential for high-compliance industries, Samsung Knox equips organizations with full control over their device fleets, including instant broadcast messaging, secure location tracking, remote lock and wipe functions, and continuous performance and compliance monitoring.
Anthony Acador, One Samsung B2B Vertical Head at Samsung Electronics Philippines, said the Rugged Devices and Knox Solutions zone showcases devices well-suited for logistics companies, emergency responders, and manufacturers.
According to Acador, the devices are considered rugged due to their protective casing, which allows them to withstand drops and even water submersion without interrupting operations.
“Even though you’re wearing gloves, like in a manufacturing setup, logistics, where your employees wear gloves for safety, you can still use or clutch your devices,” said Acador.
Meanwhile, the devices are paired with Knox Solution, which ensures that unauthorized individuals cannot access stored information if the device is lost.
“You can manage it and you can be assured whatever files, whatever information you have in your device can be secured,” he said.
Education
To promote these solutions to businesses and households, Acador said they work closely with various partners, particularly specifiers such as engineers, developers, architects, and system integrators.
Acador added that they emphasize the value they provide to clients, highlighting Samsung’s quality, advanced features, and long-term innovative solutions.
“So, price is very relative. One million pesos can be cheap for me and expensive for you, but the value can be objective,” he said.
For now, their main focus is on the education sector, as they aim to help the government and academe improve the quality of education in the country with the use of innovative and highly connected devices and solutions for classroom setting. They are also targeting the hospitality sector and government agencies.
Asked how the Philippine market is adapting to these innovative solutions, Acador said adoption is strong, but there remains a significant need to raise awareness—hence the creation of the Business Experience Studio.
