The Department of Tourism (DOT) successfully convened regional tourism leaders and key cruise industry partners on Tuesday for the Asia Cruise Cooperation (ACC) Annual Regional Meeting 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La, reinforcing a shared commitment to advance cruise tourism across Asia.
The high-level meeting solidified the common vision for inclusive and sustainable growth in the region, emphasizing the critical role of unity and collaboration in the industry’s future.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco delivered a powerful address, highlighting the indispensable nature of cross-destination cooperation.
“If there is one lesson that the ACC teaches, it is this: no destination succeeds alone,” the Tourism Chief stated. “Collaboration across ports, cruise lines, and governments ensures every traveler’s experience is seamless, enjoyable, and meaningful.”
Secretary Frasco underscored the DOT’s commitment to strengthening regional collaboration and advancing sustainable cruise tourism practices across the continent.
Key Highlights of the ACC 2025 Meeting:
