Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics (MSL) and Magsaysay Shipmanagement, Inc. (MSI) hosted a heartfelt Crew and Family Day at Dad’s World Buffet in Ermita, Manila. Under the theme “Anchored in Family: A Lunch Serenade for Our Crew & Families,” the event served as a dedicated tribute to the strength and sacrifices of the families supporting Filipino seafarers.
The gathering drew families from across Luzon, with attendees traveling from Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Nueva Ecija, and Mindoro. The day was defined by a sense of community, featuring a festive lunch, live entertainment, and raffle prizes, providing a rare opportunity for maritime frontliners to bond with their loved ones and colleagues in a relaxed setting.
During the program, members of the MSL and MSI management teams took the stage to express their profound gratitude. Leaders emphasized that while the crew keeps the fleet moving, it is the families back home who provide the essential emotional foundation for their success. “Our seafarers are our frontliners, but their families are the anchors,” said a representative of the management team. “We recognize that the journey of a seafarer is a shared one, and today is about honoring that collective resilience.”
