Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) achieved another sustainability milestone as it was recognized alongside other companies at the PCX Pulse Event for 100% plastic offsetting.
Through a strategic partnership with Plastic Credit Exchange (PCX) Markets, a leading plastic responsibility platform, MMPC successfully offset every unit of plastic it introduced into the market through verified recovery and recycling initiatives. MMPC’s efforts were highlighted and commended at the PCX Pulse Event.
“The leaders we honored today show that responsible action is possible. When companies commit to verified recovery of 100% of their plastic footprint, we can turn the tide on plastic waste and create lasting impact for people and planet,” said Ms. Nanette Medved-Po, Founder and Executive Chair of PCX.

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Raphael Lotilla remarked, “We commend the 16 companies recognized at the PCX Pulse Event for recovering 100% of their audited plastic footprint. By going beyond compliance, you exemplify environmental stewardship and inspire others to embrace responsibility that safeguards both our people and our planet.”
“This recognition reflects our commitment to taking responsibility for the plastic we produce. Plastic credits are more than offsets — they are real, measurable actions that strengthen recycling systems and protect our environment, and we are grateful to PCX for being our partner in this responsibility. At Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, we don’t just drive for mobility — we drive for a sustainable future,” said Mr. Marfel Ancheta, MMPC Vice President for Safety, Health, and Environment.
This recognition reinforces MMPC’s role as an industry leader in sustainability and responsible manufacturing. By working closely with organizations like PCX Markets, MMPC ensures that its environmental initiatives deliver measurable and lasting impact.
